    In his words
“I want to reassure you that you are the hope of this country, and everything hangs on you. Every decision that I have taken is about you. It’s about the future. 27,986 persons unemployed in Taraba – cleric raises alarm

Rev. Father Maurice Kwairanga had revealed that 27,986 people in Taraba State are unemployed, representing 1.9% of the population.

Speaking at the Catholic Diocese of Jalingo’s Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) program, he highlighted how unemployment contributes to crime, militancy, and social unrest, affecting both individuals and society.

To address the issue, the Diocese launched a skills acquisition program called “From the Street to the Credence,” aimed at training 100 disadvantaged youths in various trades, including masonry, carpentry, tailoring, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Father Kwairanga stressed that promoting entrepreneurship and equipping youths with practical and technological skills would help them secure employment and contribute to national development.

Rev. Father Clement Tiba, JDPC Jalingo Diocese’s Coordinator, stated that the commission has been active since the 1990s, implementing programs focused on youth and women empowerment, human rights protection, sanitation, food security as, and governance. He noted that many communities in the state still lack access to potable water, and through partnerships with organizations like Misereor, Germany, JDPC has been working to provide clean water and sanitation solutions.

Bishop Charles Hammawa urged parents to encourage their children to embrace hard work instead of relying entirely on them for financial support. He called on youths to take up small businesses and vocational activities, noting that perseverance in such endeavors can lead to long-term success.

I didn’t sleep with Baba Tee, Lande estranged wife denies

Dara, the estranged wife of skit maker and actor Ijoba Lande, has broken her silence regarding the cheating accusations made by her husband.

In a recent TikTok live session, Dara took the opportunity to address the claims and share her side of the story.

The allegations stem from Lande’s accusation that Dara had an affair with actor Baba Tee during a game of Truth or Dare.

However, Dara vehemently denied the claims, explaining that she met Baba Tee through a mutual friend, Mary Gold, and had no intention of her actions being misinterpreted.

Dara recounted the events of the game, revealing that Mary Gold had stripped naked and performed a sexual act on Baba Tee.

Dara said that Mary Gold then dared Baba Tee to sleep with her, but Dara chose not to engage, instead sitting on Baba Tee’s lap.

She challenged her estranged husband, Lande, to present any evidence of her alleged infidelity, asserting that their separation was not due to cheating.

Dara also emphasised that she doesn’t sleep around and that Lande is fully aware of this.

She said: “The first time I met Baba Tee was in July last year when Marygold told me we should go to his house because she wanted to invite him for the launching of her movie. When we got there, Baba Tee didn’t know I was Lande’s wife, we greeted and Marygold said she wanted to drink alcohol.

“There was no alcohol in the house so Marygold and Baba Tee’s driver went to buy it while I sat down in the living room. Baba Tee and I didn’t talk till they returned. When Marygold entered the house, she said we should start a TRUTH OR DARE game.

”I didn’t want to but she encouraged me so I told Baba Tee that I was Lande’s wife and we started the game. As the game was going on, Marygold stripped herself naked and gave Baba Tee a BJ. By then I already drank 10 shots of alcohol while Marygold and Baba Tee were smoking ‘igbo’. Marygold then dared Baba Tee to give me a doggy style so Baba Tee went to get a condom.

“When he came back, I told him I would not allow doggy but I would sit on him. We then told Marygold to turn to the wall so she wouldn’t watch us. I only sat on his laps; we didn’t do anything.

“Lande knows I don’t sleep around. I challenge him to bring out any evidence that I ever cheated on him. I will not say the reason why we broke up for now due to some personal reasons but it wasn’t about infidelity.”

  • “I find myself bored when I’m with my wife, but happy with girlfriend”- Man seeks advice

“I find myself bored when I’m with my wife, but happy with girlfriend”- Man seeks advice

A Nigerian man, who is married, has caused a stir online by sharing his feelings of boredom with his wife while enjoying time with his girlfriend.

He has a child with his wife and reached out anonymously to influencer @Wizarab10, asking if he should consider divorce.

“I’m married with a kid but I feel bored even if my wife is around me. I don’t feel bored when I’m around my girlfriend; I feel lively around her. I’m really tired of the boredom I feel even when my wife is around. I don’t know if I should divorce her or not, but I can’t keep living this way,” he lamented.

His situation quickly caught attention, leading to various reactions from people on social media.

One commenter, @JanisOmorogbe, blamed the wife for the man’s boredom, stating, “There’s something she’s not doing well. I guess she’s one of those entitled women out there. This generation of women don’t know that the success of every home (marriage) 90% depends on the woman.”

Another user, @eddiebrendan, advised being careful with quick choices, noting that the thrill of a new relationship usually doesn’t last long.

“When you eventually convert your girlfriend to your new wife, the cycle will begin again. It’s spicy now because you’re doing touch and go. You should seek ways to spice up the one at home, especially if children are involved.”

Natasha’s beauty is a problem to her – Ex-minister Ogunlewe

Former Minister of Works, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, has claimed that the beauty of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan could be a hindrance to her political career, claiming that her appearance makes it difficult for men to ignore her.

During an interview on Arise News TV on Monday, March 10, Ogunlewe acknowledged that female senators are increasingly confident and assertive in political debates, refusing to view themselves as inferior to their male counterparts.

However, he pointed out that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s physical attractiveness may impact how male colleagues perceive and react to her in the political arena.

Ogunlewe said: “The female senators did not look at themselves as if they were inferior to men. They were even up to the task. If you even mention that Itadewa is a woman, the response you are going to get will make you ashamed of yourself because they will stand up to you.

“But the beauty of Distinguished Senator Natasha is a problem to her.

“You know, men—when somebody who is pretty passes by you, your attitude will change. You can smile, you can wink, but you may not talk to her. But her beauty is a problem, there’s no doubt about that.

“To men, when she’s passing, there’s no way a man will not look at that woman.

“It is a natural thing for a man to look at beautiful women. How can you be a man, and a beautiful woman is passing, and you close your eyes?.”

Breaking: El-Rufai dumps APC, joins New party

The immediate-past governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Social Democratic Party (SDP), citing irreconcilable differences with the ruling party’s leadership.

In a resignation letter submitted to his ward in Kaduna State on Monday, El-Rufai expressed disappointment with the APC’s trajectory in recent years.

“I have diligently served the APC and made my contributions to its viability as a political platform,” he stated. “However, developments in the last two years have confirmed a troubling disregard for democratic principles and progressive values that I hold dear.”

El-Rufai, a founding member of the APC, played a key role in securing electoral victories for the party in 2015, 2019, and 2023. Reflecting on his tenure as Kaduna governor, he highlighted his administration’s focus on human development, education, healthcare, infrastructure, job creation, and investment.

Despite his contributions, he signaled his decision to part ways with the APC due to growing concerns about governance and internal party dynamics.

“At this point in my political journey, I must seek another political platform for the pursuit of the progressive values I cherish,” he said.

Announcing his move to the SDP, El-Rufai expressed gratitude to his mentors, colleagues, and supporters, reaffirming his commitment to advancing democratic principles.

“As a member of the SDP, I am committed to fostering a unified democratic platform to challenge the APC in upcoming elections,” he declared.

He urged Nigerians who share his concerns about the country’s future to join him in building the SDP as a viable alternative, emphasizing the need to elevate Nigeria as a beacon of pride for Africa and the Black Race.

El-Rufai concluded his statement with a call for unity and progress, vowing to dedicate his efforts toward strengthening Nigeria’s democratic landscape.

  • I slept with my colleagues wife – actor Baba Tee finally confesses

I slept with my colleagues wife – actor Baba Tee finally confesses

Popular comedian, Babatunde Bernard Tayo, widely known as Baba Tee, has confessed to having a brief sexual encounter with Dara, the wife of comedian and skit maker Ganiyu Morufu, aka Lande.

The admission came during a live interview on Sunday, where Baba Tee appeared alongside socialite Esabod and a group of TikTok influencers.

This revelation marks a reversal from Baba Tee’s earlier stance, in which he denied the accusation and threatened legal action against Lande for defamation.

Baba Tee had also earlier challenged Lande to provide proof of the affair or face the consequences in court.

The controversy surrounding the affair gained widespread attention following a recent interview in which Lande claimed his wife left him after he uncovered her alleged infidelity.

In that interview, Lande also alleged that Dara had been involved with at least 21 men in the entertainment industry, further escalating tensions between the couple and those involved.

Baba Tee was among those specifically named by Lande in an Instagram post and a viral interview, where the comedian accused him of being involved with his wife.

In response to the allegations, Baba Tee quickly denied any affair, clarifying that he had only met Lande’s wife once, and that encounter took place last year through actress Marygold.

The actor further explained that Marygold had introduced her as a content creator and aspiring artist, with Baba Tee only learning about her true identity after overhearing a conversation between the two women.

In a surprising new turn, Baba Tee admitted to having slept with Lande’s wife.

He however described the encounter as a brief sexual affair that was never intended to happen.

According to Baba Tee, the incident occurred while he was intoxicated during a game of ‘Truth or Dare’ with Dara and Marygold.

He said: “When Marygold and Dara came to my house. She (Marygold) claimed that she wanted me to be an MC for an upcoming programme of hers despite not telling me that she was coming with anyone. She introduced Dara as a content creator and not as Lande’s wife. They began to ask if I had a Qatar connection before the ‘Truth or Dare’ game suggestion came up.

“So immediately we began the game, Marygold went completely naked and was daring me consistently to Dara while she kept taking alcohol as a choice of not wanting to do the tasks that I demanded from her. Rather than throwing more ‘Truth’ to me, they were hurling ‘Dare’ at me.

“Marygold now dared Dara to let me have a ‘quick’ sexual intercourse with her and she (Dara) obliged. So, the reason I said I never slept with Lande’s wife was because Marygold never introduced her as that to me, she called her a content creator. I will not deny that I had a short sexual intercourse with her, it is the first time I am saying it. It is now that I discovered that it was a set-up by both of them to malign my personality.”

Natasha came up with allegations because her seat, committee was changed – Akpabio

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has disclosed that allegations from suspended Kogi lawmaker, Natasha Akpoti came up because her seat and committee was changed.

Akpabio questioned why Natasha did not speak out immediately in 2023 if her allegations were true.

The Senate President recalled that the suspended lawmaker had accused other people of similar crimes in the past and none has been proven so far.

He however noted that time would decide eventually if her allegations were true or not.

Akpabio said: “It’s only yesterday I realised that what we are talking about happened only after the change of seats and committee in the senate which my Senators know happen from time to time, that is when all hell was let loose and all sort of allegations came out.

“It was said to have happened on the 8th of December 2023, a day to my birthday which was celebrated in the stadium.

“So from December 8, 2023, I never heard, my wife never heard, no Nigerian even the husband never heard until her committee was changed and her seats was changed.

“Have you ever wondered the drama caused by that same woman on the other people she had accused in the past? None has been proven so far. I’ve refrained myself from making any statements.

“Look at these beautiful women, they’ve come across me so many times, have I ever harassed any one of you? Let me just say that time will tell. If we are in court, the court will decide.”
